It is with a heavy heart that we have to say goodbye to our historic Graseckbahn cable car at the end of the year, which is going into well-deserved retirement.
In order to ensure unrestricted accessibility for our guests in the coming decades, we decided to build a new building.

The new construction of the Graseckbahn is being carried out with a new, only slightly offset route. This means that the previous Graseckbahn can be used without restrictions until the start of the new one.

Work on the mountain station is expected to start on August 21, 2023 and will take place from Monday to Friday until mid-October 2023.

What can you expect from us during this time as usual?

The only thing we won't always be able to keep is our promise of absolute calm during this period. So that the work is as little disruptive as possible, it only takes place from monday to thursday (August/September) or to friday (October/November) between approx. 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the north side of our hotel.
