Torchlit hikes through Partnach Gorge

A sparkling starry sky and mysterious shadows that dance in the light of the torches through dark Partnach Gorge. Whether it’s a birthday party or family celebration, as an opening or closing treat for your company event, a guided torchlit hike is an unforgettable experience and is usually offered between 1 November and 31 March. The minimum number of participants is 2 people.

Costs

Basic costs:
€125 for the first guide (for 10 people)
€95 for each additional guide

Torchlit hike:
€9.90 for admission and torch

Car parking

Car parking is available free of charge at the valley station of Graseck cable car.

Equipment

You will need to wear warm clothing, gloves, good footwear, and a hood or other head covering on the hike. It will be damp!

Duration

The torchlit hikes in Partnach Gorge can be enjoyed between 6 p.m. (5.30 p.m. at the very earliest) and 9 p.m. The meeting point is at the turning bay beneath the valley station of Graseck cable car. The hike takes around 60 to 75 minutes and ascends steeply after the gorge.

Return journey (cable car or shuttle)

The cable car can be taken back down to the valley until 10 p.m. and costs €4 per person.
With advanced notice, the operating hours of the cable car can be extended until midnight every day.
From 10 p.m. onwards, a flat rate of €80 per hour is charged in addition to the ticket rate of €4 per person.

Restaurant visit

The torchlit hike can be booked in combination with or independent of a restaurant visit.

The 4-course evening menu, which changes every day, costs €57 and is not subject to a minimum number of people.
Fondue and aperitifs are served for groups of 10 or more guests.

Please note that the restaurant can offer space for external guests and groups up to a maximum of 30 people.
